Inhouse Wellness Director and Plant Based Advocate, Maya Acosta co-founded the organization Plant-Based DFW in 2016 as a way to help educate our patients and community members on the role nutrition plays in overall health. Today, Plant-Based DFW incorporates Lifestyle Medicine, which includes nutrition, exercise, and stress management, into their lectures and events. Dr. Bukhari
